I just got an LCD TV, and i too had some trouble getting it to sync. It
seems the tv only does 1024x768 instead of the reported 1366x768, and
ubuntu found some nifty resolutions to display it at. 1280x1024 would
sync, but its fuzzy, 1024x768 works good. I found that I just needed to
set it at 1024x768x60hz, and all is well.
