I'm looking over what's available at http://tuxmobil.org/portable_players.html and I see the Creative Zen Nano MP3, at $50 I could buy 2, but there's that PlayForSure! I take it that is an oxymoron...care to elaborate? What software interface / Distro did you use?
"PlayForSure" is the Microsoft branded DRM. "PlaysForS%$%^" is more like it. (It is a very troublesome bit of code to keep working, even if you do use Microsoft products.) It also drains battery life on the device because of the extra cpu load.
I have been looking at either the SanDisk or iRiver. (iRiver will play ogg files!)
