You should be fine with any distribution shipping a 2.6 kernel.

I did load all the latest board drivers, per a earlier email.  Half of
these peripherals are scrounged parts, so they are unreliable.  I will
put some better parts in this system.

I got the PCMark free version.  It provides a lot of detail.  It wants
to have some extras added: ActiveX 9, Media Player 10, etc.  I let it
load ActiveX 9.  Should I go for the whole enchilada or what?  Think the
commercial version is worth $19.99?
