They do. The TiVo Series III is high definition. But it doesn't have
a DIRECTV receiver integrated, and it's not able to record DIRECTV in
high definition.
There's an older model that is both high definition and a DIRECTV
receiver, but DIRECTV has already announced the date that they'll be
discontinuing the broadcast format that those TiVos can receive.
(Sorry, I don't remember the date.) After that, they'll only be
able to receive and record standard definition.
