You know, that hurts! Sorry, but I prefer to use the most
reliable parts available so my white boxes are more reliable
than your cheap POS Dell. I don't cut every corner I can to
build a system and I'm not afraid to tell you that your Fry's PC
is a piece of CRAP. Yes you can do it cheap from Newegg if you
like and I get enough of those users in that I have to typically
completely rebuild their box. All of our Intel motherboards have
3 year warranties and Intel *typically* has a replacement part
at our door the next day! We've overnighted parts from Dell that
have taken 2 months to receive. Why? Because they overnight when
they process your order! So, your system is down? Hmm.. call
Dell, find out the part will be shipped out next day *when they
have it*. Screw that. Standard components mean I have you back
up and running next day on average. Got an out of warranty Dell?
That means they gouge you for parts. Non-standard power
supplies, motherboards, and CPU coolers. I'm tired of rebuilding
crap machines. Dell, Gateway, & HP can take their proprietary
crap and stick it where the sun don't shine. STANDARDS people.
Standard parts means it is much more affordable to rebuild a
system that is out of warranty. Try sticking a standard ATX or
microATX into *ANY* newer Dell or Gateway case. HP is one of the
very few manufacturers left where it is at least somewhat
possible and more affordable to repair.

Why not ask BobC how many times I've broken out the rotary tool
so that I could modify a case just to put a regular ATX power
supply in. I use the rotary tool more often at work than at
home!
