I have three pentium3 boxes (including a laptop). My 2xP3/1GB RAM box, I use for compiling pentium3 binaries. I then have my other 2 or so boxes grabbing the pre-compiled pentium3 enabled binaries from my server. Granite, I think Gentoo could easily & should deploy a binary distro ... as all the footwork has been already done. All it needs is some front-end gui stuff like Mandrake's apps to configure the box for point & click users. -- Roger http://www.eskimo.com/~roger/index.html Key fingerprint = 8977 A252 2623 F567 70CD 1261 640F C963 1005 1D61 Wed May 2 12:14:12 PDT 2007 _______________________________________________ EUGLUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug
