While I agree that you should give your wife her own login and/or X session,
it *is* possible to run two instances of firefox on the same display and
on the same machine.

Start the second Firefox instance with a different user profile.

    $ firefox -no-remote -ProfileManager

(Yes, one switch is hyphenated-lowercase and the other is CapsJammedTogether.
Hooray for consistency!)
