Hi, Susan,

1. When you got WP Linux, did it come on an installation CD?

2, If so, do you still have the CD?

3. If the answers to both 1 and 2 are yes, please mount the CD and see
if it has installation instructions in the CD's root directory. It
will almost certainly be a file with a .txt extension. If you find
that file, skim it to see if it says what flavors and version numbers
of Linux it can be installed on. Please report back on this.

4. Also, please launch WP Linux, and on the Help menu select the
option that has "About" as its first word. That should produce a
message box that includes the program's version number. Please put the
version number in your reply. (There were different versions of WP 8
for Linux, v. 8.0 which was released in 1998 and v. 8.1 which was
released the next year, then reissued in 2004 in two different
versions, a free download version and another version with more
features that cost money.)

We'll be in a better position to assist with that information.

Best regards,

Paul
