Hi everyone, Tomorrow there will be an interesting vote in the EU parlement on GMO regulation:
"New legislation to allow EU member states to restrict or ban the cultivation of crops containing genetically modified organisms (GMOs) on their own territory, even if this is allowed at EU level" http://www.europarl.europa.eu/news/en/news-room/plenary/2015-01-12/5 A journalist called me to ask for about our point of view for national radio in The Netherlands. Some EU news about this: http://www.euractiv.com/sections/agriculture-food/gmo-lobby-sees-new-juncker-commission-bad-news-308379 Did anybody notice something in the news about this vote through local channels? I found an article in Ireland urging for rejection of the proposal: https://www.agriland.ie/news/sinn-fein-urges-irish-meps-reject-eu-gmo-proposals/ All the best, Pieter * Message delivered through [email protected] mailinglist * Unsubscribe by mailing "unsubscribe europe" in the message body to [email protected]
