I like very much the following sentence:

Ah, because all GM feed for animal industry isn't GMO.

Given already high cost related to production of feed and crops in Europe
the only way, in our almost-free-market, to keep up the competitivity
against foreign countries will be to susbidies our farmers once again.
And as far as I know EU subsidization agricultural politics have been quite
a failure till now.

Rationally I'd say that fighting the status quo is not wise, as we canno't
defeat the whole world accepting and exploting GMO crops.
EU couldn't compete at the same level.
