My TEVan has been charging very strangely. I think the charger is shutting down due to leakage current on the vehicle, but I'm not 100% sure.
If I have other large loads on my 230 volt single phase turning on, can this cause a GFI to trip? My charge tap for the van is directly off a 40 amp breaker at the main breaker box. This is obviously in series with several other 30 and 40 amp breakers on the same rail. My question is whether loads on the other breakers, but on the same main 230V bus can influence my GFI.
