I found another new (?) "Green Car Club" site on-line at
   http://www.greencars.org
(or at http://www.nesea.org/greencarclub if that link doesn't work)

It is sponsored by NESEA (North East Sustainable Energy Association) and
seems to be in its infancy. The mission statement from their web site is
"To provide a club for green car owners and enthusiasts so that they can
associate with others with the same interest and commitment. To unite
owners and enthusiasts of green cars in order to create opportunities
for them to foster the purchase and use of environment friendly cars for
the health of planet Earth"

They are hosting some web-based discussion groups, including one
discussion looking for green drivers in the area to show off to school
kids (hopefully as many EVers as HVers reply!). So EVers in the New
England area might want to keep an eye on the discussions...

NOTE: Not to be confused with the "Green Car Institute" at
www.greencars.com which I know little about but seems to offer a very
realistic/optimistic view of consumer demand for EV's at
     http://www.greencars.org/gci/gcimarketing.pdf
