Going thru the floor

I have decided that going through the floor and drilling 4 holes is the best
way to hook up the emergency breaker.  How to protect the cables is the
problem.  Car water hose, PCV, plastic heatshrink.   What would the gurus
do?  To add to the problem it seems that the floor is a wafer construction
maybe a half inch or more thick.  Two holes could go through the shifter
hump but I want to limit cable run through the inside of the car.  Lawrence
