Lawrence, Consider using flexible plastic water tight conduit. The conduit and all the proper gasketted fittings are available at Home Depot and the like. The 3/4" size fits 00 cable nicely and it is quite tough. You can see what this looks like on my car at http://www.austinev.org/evalbum/273d.jpg
