One of the reasons I put a solar panel on my work truck was so when people would say "why don't you put a solar panel on it and charge it from the sun!" I could say "got it " . The solar panel just charges the 12v battery for the lights or I can use it to equalize the pack with a 10 position switch . Now I need a isolated 9 volts to run my volt meter in the truck and am thinking of a little motor from some toy with fan on it . I'll mount it like a hood ordainment. I know that the 1 watt that I get out of it to run the meter will coast me 10 watts of drag but when I get the "gen on the wheel" crap I'll just point to the hood ordainment with two little wires going into the hood and say "go it" . Hay maybe we all should put little fans on our hoods and tell people there their to charge the batteries and that the plugging in is just to drain off that excess power. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Seth Murray" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, August 21, 2002 10:12 AM Subject: Re: Electric DeLorean/Self-recharching
