This of course will change immensely with 2002 stats, as they went to
a higher production rate, you can now walk into a dealer and drive out
with a Prius, often in the color you want.  This spring I waited a week
to get the configuration I wanted, but could have drove one off another
dealer's lot the same day, if I had wanted to pay $600 more.  Now with
2003 coming out as a new model....
