If you had two pairs of voltmeters and ammeters: I would think it would be great to put a pair between the controller and motor and the other pair between the controller and battery pack.
If you have two voltmeters and one ammeter: Maybe place one voltmeter across the motor and one voltmeter across the pack. My guess is that the ammeter should register the motor draw. Right? If you have one voltmeter and one ammeter ... What now? Currently, (lol) mine are across the battery pack. Does this make the most sense?
