Hi Ken, I'm in Larkspur (just south of San Rafael), and tow my Rabbit EV with my Toyota 4Runner on occasion. I have a towbar that might work with your front bumper, but I know we drilled two holes in the bottom of the Rabbit's bumper to add strength for the towbar (we hook up to the bumper eyelets). So I would offer my help if you think it might be useful. Also, one needs to deal with the stoplights, etc. of the towed vehicle, or use magnetic clamp-on lights. May be safest to just rent the car trailer or have someone like AAA take it down for you. Chuck Hursch Larkspur, CA www.geocities.com/nbeaa
