Hum.. after carefully reading the emeter manual.. amp/hrs on the emeter is accurate. Peukert is only used to calculate amp/hrs remaining and update the bar graph. So.. I am only receiving about 25-29 amp hours out of my 324V pack of optimas. John Wayland said 25 amp/hr was a pretty reasonable number, but that would be expected from a DC system. Victor claims to be getting 36amp/hrs from his 28 Optimas. Needless to say I like the idea of 40-45 miles range better than 20-25 miles. I thought break in was only supposed to net another 5-10% in performence. > > Question 2: What are some sane values to enter into the emeter for total > AH, Puekert, "charged" voltage and the other values for my pack of > Optimas? Here's what I have now: Total Amp/hr (20 hour rate) is 50amp/hr (Optima lists 55, but I get the impression most people think 45 is more reasonable) Charged voltage: 14 volts per battery or 378VDC (maybe this is high?) Puekert: 1.05 (from Uve's page) Thanks Mark -- "The greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well-meaning but without understanding." -- Justice Louis O.
