Please tell me more of your motor. I am not to smart about this and basically search
with a search engine for hub motors and DC motors as well as speed controllers and it
looks like I need 3 grand to go 15mph.

I want power to at lease climb a 5 degree grade and hopefully 40 or that of a stair
case. I want to use off the shelf parts so I can sell kits and tell others how to make
them.

If the motor or controller doesnt offer reverse, can I wire in a switch to do it
manually? The main thing is braking, but reverse would be nice. I plan on designing it
like a regular hospital style manual chair with 2 swing bars in the rear for the motor
mounts and shocks, then a self leveling pivot bar in the front. Depending on the wheel
width and height, I would like to use a Recaro seat. The main limit for size is no
more then 30 inches wide, 48 long and no more then a combined wieght of 600 pounds. I
want it small as possible, but I want POWER. I want to go 15 mph continious up a grade
without worry of over heating, thermal roll back, etc. I dont mind using blowers or
fans.

Whats a BLDC? Sorry, Ive looked at some EV pages and am not to fimilar with those
terms. Its my understanding a dual winding is better then brushless or gearing. I want
to get it right the first time, most efficent, power, range and speed.

Thanks for any input.
