I've been following this and like the ideas.
Hasn't John Wayland experimented with dump charging from other battery
packs? If the route is planned where the cars can stop at solar powered
homes and can dump charge from their battery packs that could work.
Then stop by Tilley's place and get a charge from him.
Or airlift battery packs and drop them from the sky by parachute along the
route.
I wasn't serious about those last two ideas.
