There is going to be an alt fuel rally from LA to DC this spring 2003 called the "Drive to Survive." I'm not sure if this came up in this thread or not. This is Dennis Weaver's effort to promote AFVs. Maybe some of us could crash that event.

Maybe TLC or Discovery Channel can cover it and Cathy Rogers could join the festivities. I've already began plans on a solar electric vehicle with a solar sail that will tear loose in the mid-west part of the route. Also the Tour de Sol will be May 11-17 in 2003. The rally will be from DC to NYC or NYC to DC. A final decision hasn't been made as yet in which direction it will start. So Seth start getting your truck ready. All these events will probably coincide with Bush's invasion of Iraq to liberate the oil wells . . . I mean the Iraqi people.
