I had this happen on a 6v golf cart battery (unbranded). Didn't dry out, but leaks due to sloshing. Still a good performer though. The battery didn't have any handle on top, and I was trying to place the last battery into my Elec-trak with a homemade bracket. The bracket slipped, and caught on the lid.
