Unfortunately several years ago yahoo groups was added as a list archive. This brought our friendly little list to the attention of those generous folks who like to cram SPAM down your throats whether you want it or not. Now most of the email addresses of folks who post to the list are showing up on those nifty CD compilations (I just received a SPAM today trying to convince me to buy one). So it's entirely possible that one of our neighborhood SPAMMers is sending out this virus. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Martin Jackson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "EV Discussion List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2002 12:27 AM Subject: Possable bad message to list members > Just got a message from Lee Hart <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with an > attachment called: "trustemp.dc.exe" > > A double extension is a clue and our Lee doesn't live in .au > The message read: > > "Date: Tue, 15 Oct 2002 17:08:52 +1000 > From: Lee Hart <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: Toyota Hybrid training for fireman > > Dave Harris wrote: > > It sometimes seems that this group is a bit too narrowly focused on > > smaller EV's and conversions when there is a whole, fairly mature EV > > industry out there, " > > Careful out there........ > ______________________________________________________________________ > >
