It isn't a leaf, but my 1969 VW bug conversion has a similar range (but no 
regen). I drove from San Francisco to Santa Cruz in one charge:

As you can see, I used 101 and 85, and started from Treasure Island (a bit out 
of SF).

Granted, I stopped at my house (in Santa Cruz count), which is on the top of 
highway 17 / Summit Rd, but I could have easily "coasted" down to downtown 
Santa Cruz (it's about 10 miles further, mostly downhill).
