Hi, My 48 volt utility vehicle has 6 8V Crown brand deep cycle batteries CR-190, 190 ah at 20 hour rate. The vehicle is in regular use, no deep discharges, and recharged by a three stage DeltaVolt charger.
I have been noticing that after disconnecting the charger and letting the batteries rest 12 hours that 5 out of 6 batteries were 8.510 to 8.577. The other battery was consistently around 8.414 volts. I tried an equalization charge of 7.5 amps constant current. I ran the equalization charge for 8 hours. The battery got warm but did not use much water. After 12 hours off charge, the voltage read 8.3. Did I damage the battery? Did I quit too early? Any suggestions?
