If some batteries run warmer than others, whether due to location or internal resistance, you might try swapping some around if you are in a cold or warm climate, or have heaters, or need to add some insulation, active temp management, etc. This may extend the pack life.

Your lowest capacity battery will determine your useful range and should be monitored so it's not reversed or overdischarged. You would do this by actually cycling each battery and measuring the amp-hours withdrawn to an on-load voltage of 1.75 volts per cell. Terminal voltage is not really very useful in determining capacity.
