Looks like an AC50 or AC35 with Curtis controller and an Elcon charger.  If
the 37 cells are 180Ah CALB, the conversion cost would be around $20k, less
of course if they are 100Ah.  Maybe body work, painting, etc, adds another
few k, then labor costs...

"If we can make 10 to 12 of these a year, one a month, we'll be in really
good shape," he said.

Yeah, around $20k or more profit per car. 

"He said customers are starting to line up."

I guess P.T. Barnum was correct.
