You can turn on just the fan. Make sure the A/C button is off and turn the
temperature all the way down (its bottom is 60).

Subject: Re: [EVDL] 2011 or 2012 leaf - 60 miles at 65 MPH - NO WAY!

All,
Speaking of the Guess-O-Meter in the Leaf, last November my daughter
turned over a new leaf after totaling her Honda in a four-car pile up
(ouch!), and got a new Leaf! Over the weekend I finally got some
serious seat time in the vehicle, and even managed to maintain her 4.3
miles per kilowatt hour average. Anyway, while I was at the helm, she
broke out the owner's manual and attempted to turn on the H-VAC fan
without the range on the Guess-O-Meter dropping, but she couldn't do
it, so we ended up just cracking the winders as needed for
ventilation. Doesn't it seem strange that you can't even put the H-VAC
fan on low without dropping the range noticeably?
