Hi jukka, yup I was aware of this from evdl postings ages back - i've only
worked at allied 2 wks now so not much I could have done! The warranty issues
are from the customer vs allied, not from allied to TS. So I think that there
is awareness of the situation.<br/><br/>Early vehicles were converted using
bought in kits. Current and future are moving towards in house

conversations about it in EVDL and also directly with companies who were
considering to use the cells this way. Plenty of meetings in UK too during
several excursions.<br/><br/>So I do not think it's Winston's fault people
decided to do it that way anyway. Misusing the cells is not a warranty issue.
<br/><br/>There were improvements made in the cells to prevent this but it's in
the design. The pole assembly could be made with homogenous
materials with extra cost if one MUST put them
