I just finished taking a pack of Lithium Batteries out of a 1995 Neon. This car is now on the chopping block. It has a 9" Advance DC motor, clutchless adapter plate and 5 speed transmission. It has a Curtis Controller ( which could be taken out, lowering the price) Battery Boxes are made for 40 of the 160ah TS Batteries. The Car is primed and no dents or rust that I noticed. This would be a GREAT car for someone wanting to get into the exciting world of home made conversions. I drove the car just before taking the batteries out.. and other than needing a bushing in the shift linkage, the drive train runs fine. Why would someone get rid of a diamond in the rough like this?.... One word... TESLA !
