When I first got my ComutaVan, I didn't have keys to lock the doors. As a temporary expedient, I got a "Danger - High Voltage" sign from an electrical supply house, and put that in the window when parked. Watching from inside, it was humorous to see people come close to see what that strange vehicle was, and then hurriedly back away when they saw the sign.

One time, it was charging at work. It had rained, so there were puddles in the parking lot. As I was walking out, I saw a mother and young son approach the ComutaVan. She saw the sign, the puddle the ComutaVan was sitting in, and walked her son *way around even the puddle* to keep away from it. :-)

I think our charging cords need some signage, or even a little arc-n-spark theatrics to keep the dolts away.
