Of course.  This is what you would probably have gotten 20 or 30 years ago.  
Today, you might still, but it's less likely.  

Someone mentioned "zero tolerance," which is just another name for 
intolerance.  I could say more, but it would be straying off topic.  

In the novel Les Miserables, Jean Valjean got prison for stealing a loaf of 
bread.  Apparently Victor Hugo's message hasn't connected over 150 years 
later, if we're seeing people arrested for stealing 5 cents' worth of 
electricity. 

It's of no help to rail against this attitude. We simply have to deal with 
it.  As EVers, we're perceived as unconventional - or, perhaps worse, as 
elitist.  Both are red flags for many kinds of authority figures.  

Be careful out there.
