Does anyone have an anti-plugging circuit that I can use to prevent
excessive wear and tear on the reversing contactor? I have a customer who
thinks it is great fun to throw the car in reverse rathar than use the
hydraulic brakes. He has been requested not to do so but has beat a second
reversing contactor to death.
This is on an industrial cart running 36V through power resistors to the
motor with a 24V control circuit to the reversing contactor and a kilovac
power contactor.
