That's no doubt true with marine batteries. However, propertly treated and maintained, golf car batteries should give you between 3 and 7 years of service, with 4-5 being pretty typical. You're a vendor, so of course you want to sell your lithium batteries. It's in your interest to promote them. But there are still plenty of people for whom lead batteries are economical and practical. That said, it's hard to predict how well Costco batteries will perform. IMO within good brands, how you treat them matters more than brand. But there are some that brands that are .... somewhat less well suited to road EV service. IIRC Costco stock whatever they can get cheapest this month, so the ones you get could be from just about any manufacturer. I don't know how to tell; does anyone else?
