Who cares? They can then usually walk or take the metro to work ride a bike or use an ICE or LNG or CNG, or hydrogen. An EV is NOT for everyone! The Census says about 33% do not live in single-family -detached houses, but they generally are in urban areas and so their driving is much less. Let's say half what the typical suburban drivers do. So now we are down to only 16% of the transportation pie.
