Generally, you will need a gear reduction, AND the transmission gives you reverse for free! (important for DC drive system, not as important if you are planning a $$$ AC Drive system.) My F-250 has it's 4 speed manual, and it's original Transfer case so the 4WD still works. _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org Read EVAngel's EV News at http://evdl.org/evln/ Please discuss EV drag racing at NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
