if it's a scooter it has a handlebar. Just go to a bike store and buy an old fashioned bicycle bell. Self-contained right there on the bar, no wiring, pleasant 'shing-shing' sound. I've even considered using one for my electric car, but it becomes more difficult to operate it remotely.
