I won't bore you with all the EVSE I requested put in at several hp sites,
those were a long time ago, ancient history mixture of L1 and 14-50's, and
have since been yanked out as most of those sites hp sold off. 

Instead I use the former Sun Microsystems site in Menlo Park, CA

But on the back of that FB sign is the last original Sun sign. FB CEO had it
flipped around and the then back painted over to use it as FB's sign front

With a boat-load of cash flow, that FB site has a whole lot of employee
EVSE. If you bring up plugshare with that site's address, plugshare won't
show any public EVSE (FB got plugshare to not display/show FB's employee
EVSE. I used to show on plugshare before, but now it doesn't).

But if you are smart (like me) there is a way to still find all the EVSE (I
and others) have documented on plugshare:

Many of the images shown are now old as FB has yanked the Blink EVSE for
Chargepoint, and even some of their older CT2100 Chargepoint EVSE were
replaced by newer CT4000 Chargepoint EVSE (FB has lots of cash, so
repeatedly spending money on EVSE like this is no problem for FB).

So, at bldg18 all the Blink shown are now chargepoint

 but notice that image is old as today, the EVs are no longer all Leaf EVs,
but a wide mixture of EV brands. Employees come to work, plugin, and then
relocate at lunch time to make the EV spot available for some other plugin.

There is a 50kW CHAdeMO L3 EVSE at bldg 12, but most of the EVSE at that FB
is L2-6kW chargepoint. Their L2 is scattered around from a couple in front
of bldg 10 (hq), bldgs 12 & 18, to several in the bldg 15 parking lot.

Bldg 15's EVSE particularly impressed me, as it seemed to be the last EVSE
installations FB put in at that site. 

The facilties person utilitized 6 of the existing cement pad squares in the
parking lot (between the parked cars) to install in each: two dual L2-6kW
coupler CT4000 Chargepoint EVSE, along with putting one duplex 5-20 outlet
at the bottom of each CT4000.

Each of the duplex' two L1 outlets were on their own 120VAC 20A circuit. So,
each pad had 4 L2-6kW and 4 L1 charging. That may seem like over kill, but
FB did this EVSE installation in a big way.

So, there is an example of EV spot parking that can charge at either L2-6kW
or L1 (wow!).

If you look at the two last images, you will see the plugins are either EVs
that can only L2 charge at 3kW or pih that can only charge at 3kW. When I
had visited the site a long while ago (before being chased out by FB
security), there were some Tesla, and Focus EVs plugged into L2, but most in
that long EV charging row of beaucoup EVSE were only pulling 3kW at most.
About 20% were charging off L1 using their portable EVSE.


I would also like to use that work site as an example of how L3 can be
implemented. FB originally installed 1 Blink 50+kW L3 EVSE that had two
couplers (but only one at a time can be used/powered), with a long row of
Blink L2-6kW farther down:

The Blink L3 is still there, but the Blink L2 have been replaced by CT4000.
Comments on the (above) plugshare listings mention that the employee's with
Tesla EVs are hogging the Blink L3 (via a Tesla to CHAdeMO adapter).

To me because FB is doing EVSE in a big way, I am guessing that FB will
likely upgrade those nearby chargepoint L2 they just put in, to L3 EVSE
(they have the money they can do what they want). 

Since FB has for the most part mostly migrated over to Chargepoint, they
likely will start installing ChargePoint Express CPE200 dual coupler L3 EVSE
that can charge either CHAdeMO or ccs

IMO I would rather see twice as many 25kW L3 installed with a mix of CHAdeMO
and ccs. Using a 50+kW L3 EVSE:
-A 100mi EV will L3 charge in .5hr
-A 200mi EV will L3 charge in 1hr
-A Tesla might take as long as 1.5+hr.

The 25kW L3 equipment hardware, and utility installation cost would be lower
when compared to a 50+kW L3 EVSE. More employees would feel plugged in
before starting their day. And FB could keep the 50+kW Blink around for
those in a big hurry. 

Using a 25kW L3 EVSE, the charge times are doubled: -1hr, 2hr, 3hr.
This is fine for employees to not have to wait around for the L3 to finish.
They can go to a meeting and come back to move the EV to finish the charge
off L2/1 elsewhere. 

While it is most likely FB would also offer a valet service for this, for
those companies where the employees have to leave their desk to do this, the
slower, less expensive 25kW L3 might time better for their productivity
(plug it in, come back in a few hours, and move, rather than waiting
around).
