Add me to the long list of people who will miss Roland Wiench’s posts. I enjoyed hearing about his robust approach to engineering informed by data collection built around his daily drive. The way he described it, his EV had a switch for everything; all failure modes were addressed, regardless of how remote their occurrence. It appears he lived a long, satisfying life and I’m glad he posted to this list.
