I was going to mention that I bought some Valence salvage batteries off
of eBay a year or so ago. Valence had a good reputation but could not
price attractively. I'm pretty sure they went bankrupt. But, your post
stimulated a search which yielded:

It looks like someone has bought/resurrected Valence.
As I recall, Valence used to sell ~30ah 12v batteries for $1k+. The
eBay salvage price was close to $100. From looking at the above, I'm
guessing I have U1-12XP.
If someone goes to the trouble of extracting prices from them, please post.
12v lithium batteries are being sold as Tesla "cranking" batteries. The
lead batteries on early Teslas might last only a year or so. The
lithium replacement batteries, however, are not priced attractively.
~$400 for ~30 ah.
I see there are still some Valence batteries offered on eBay, some at
attractive prices.
