I got an e-mail who had the J1772 inlet and electronics damaged by a public
EVSE.  Has anyone heard of this before?
" I had the unfortunate experience of having my Leaf burn out the connector
and input electronics at a  defective public charging EVSE station.   Though
the repair was covered under warranty I never want to have that experience
again.  I would like the ST 1 box to test public EVSE before I try to
charge."

I restored and drove ComutaVan for many years as my daily transportation.
The ComutaVan is a "stretch" version of the ComutaCar; it had a longer
wheelbase, 72v instead of 48v pack of 6v golf cart batteries, a little
bigger motor and a 3-speed transmission. But otherwise, it is very similar.
I kept a journal of my repairs and upgrades. What help do you need?
