I'm using these from Electric Car Parts Company:

Currently using a set of their Li-ion balancer modules but have an Orion BMS that I'll be connecting when I get time.

The truck's using only 0.75 Ah/mi (230 Wh/mi), which, considering its weight and brick-like aerodynamics, is pretty darn good. I'm estimating over 100 miles range, assuming 80% DoD on the 100Ah battery modules. VASTLY better than the approximately 35-40 miles of range it was getting with the Group 24 lead-acids it originally had. I imaging being several hundred pounds lighter can't hurt.

Our 1997 Solectria Force, incidentally, bowed out at just about the right time (July 2018, when our Tesla Model 3 showed up) -- I'm salvaging all the EV components out of it right now and the unibody rust is so bad, trying to jack it up and set it on a couple of jackstands resulted in the jackstand on the driver's side front punching right through the reinforced area -- And the lower passenger-side A-arm support area is mostly gone.  If we had driven it much more, we would have had a serious structural failure.  But its EV components are living on....

it's fixed!
Great news! Glad to hear you're back in business.

With its new lithium-ion battery pack, it's got exceptional range and a
new lease on life.
Do you mind if I ask what kind of lithium battery you used? Just curious.
