Thanks!  That seems to be a pretty good price.  If the specs are honest, 
they should give about twice the usable Wh of the old 8G24/27 Deka gel 
batteries, at less than half the weight, and for maybe 50% more cost (though 
I haven't priced Dominators lately).  If their cycle life claim (>3000) is 
accurate, those should be an outstanding value for lower power conversion 
EVs.

Sure is!  Solectria and Brusa drives have always been efficient, and 
Solectria did a fine job of optimizing their vehicles.  It wasn't at all 
tough to get 160-175Wh/mi with a Force.

Aargh, sorry to hear that.  From what I can tell, it's been a faithful car.  
Twenty-two years of service!  

The Tesla 3 is from a totally different world. It'll be interesting to see 
whether it's still doing its job for you 20+ years from now.
