Here's an interesting thought experiment: I wonder how we'd feel about Chargepoint or Tesla convincing City Hall to use eminent domain to condem properties, so they could build several charging points in a city.
What would you think if the properties to be taken were in a slum, with some of them already abandoned and stripped out? What if they were in an older middle-income neighborhood, with a mixture of well-kept and somewhat shabby homes? (You can bet they wouldn't be in a wealthy area!)
