None is particularly competent, but some are at least making an effort to get their bearings. Unfortunately, a few have invited pirates on board to rob and murder the passengers and plunder the ship, while they gleefully run around opening all the seacocks. Similar situations have happened before, though, and other sailors with conscience banded together to seize the troublemakers and toss them into the brig. Meanwhile, it's up to us passengers to do our best - fight off the pirates when we can, hide from them when we can't, and keep the bilge pumps running with our EVs' batteries.
