Hi everyone My Leaf is at a dealership in a Boston suburb, not drivable.
They think one of the battery cells is dead. When they removed the plastic panels under the vehicle to look, there was so much rust they're afraid to even take the metal pan down to access the battery box. After 8.5 years, it's time for me to say goodbye to the car. I think I'll owe the dealer around $600 for the work so far, possibly less. Anyone willing to cover that, plus the cost of towing it, can have it. I have pictures of the underbody and I have Nissan's Disassembly Guide. Please contact me if you're interested.
