I use 20 Ah batteriy gel cells (over 20 years old) for my THINK EV and all
my 3 prius since I had a supply of them and they work fine though smaller
than originals

But there is a shorter park-life of a  few weeks because there is a small
load on the battery while parked and it adds up.  I think it was over 20
mA.  which is 4 AH a week and is signifdicant on these 20 years old cells.

Also found that If I left a DTD code reader plugged in, that it drained the
battery to zeor in a aday
