Words to live by Alan. Hence the ask what BMS folks are using with Volt packs. So far the majority I have heard is no BMS. And I have seen lots of folks use a less than great BMS, it malfunction, drain and kill the pack. The Orion and Dilithium kits look like good quality but would likely cost as much as the volt pack I just bought. I think if I could find a inexpensive BMS that is very low overhead and just alarms when things go out of range would be good enough. Would love to know some good examples?
