80A charger is not easy-peasy. To start with, the heat produced is 4x as high as at 40A so you need serious upgraded wiring *and* *relay*. If you only do the wiring, you will likely see your relay contacts burn up or weld in short order. Indeed, the other bit is to change the pilot to indicate 80A capability or else the EV will still only pull 40A (or 32A, depending what the original EVSE design was). Cor.
